PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING PRODUCTION OPERATOR

We’re looking for a Plastic Injection Molding Operator with a strong mechanical mindset and interest in manufacturing systems, process optimization, and sustainable production. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on engineering, manufacturing, machining, plastics, or process experience who enjoys working directly on the production floor.

As part of a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute beyond daily operations — helping refine manufacturing processes, improve production consistency, reduce waste, and support the scaling of recycled-plastic manufacturing systems.

The Plastic Injection Molding Production Operator role is a 32 hour, on site position in Denver, CO, and reports directly to the Head of Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor injection molding equipment to ensure quality disc production
  • Support recycled material processing workflows, including grinding, blending, drying, and preparation of plastics for manufacturing
  • Perform in-process quality control inspections and help maintain production standards and tolerances
  • Assist with preventative maintenance, equipment upkeep, calibration checks, and basic mechanical repairs
  • Collect and communicate production observations and process feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused manufacturing environment
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery, tools, and manufacturing equipment
  • Interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, and sustainable manufacturing
  • Ability to diagnose problems, think critically, and implement practical solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership of projects and tasks
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Experience with injection molding or plastics manufacturing is a plus
  • Passion for sustainability and disc golf

Hourly Rate: $20/hr
