Our commitment
Trash Panda Disc Golf is committed to supporting the global effort to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, in line with the Paris Agreement and the latest climate science.
We recognize both our responsibility and opportunity to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future in disc golf and beyond. This plan outlines our roadmap to significantly reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and strengthen our climate resilience.
1 MILLION POUNDS OF PLASTIC
Goal: Recycle 1 million pounds of plastic by 2030.
Why: From day 1 we've committed to manufacturing products with 100% recycled plastic, 100% of the time. In 2026 we surpassed 100,000 pounds of plastic recycled. We are so proud of the impact we've made but it doesn't stop there!
Immediate Action: In order to achieve such a lofty goal, our immediate plan of action is to increase production by purchasing a third injection machine and hiring the next machine operator.
CARBON NEUTRAL
Goal: Become 100% carbon neutral by 2036 or sooner.
Why: As a manufacturing and e-commerce company, we are aware of the emissions we produce daily to get our discs made with 100% recycled plastic out into the world. It seems counterproductive of our mission if we are not actively working to offset the emissions we produce.
Immediate Action: In order to offset 100% of emissions by 2030, we first need to understand how much emissions we produce. Over the next 2 years, we will be working with external resources to audit and identify the carbon emissions produced on a daily basis.
Supplier Standards
Goal: Ensure that 100% of suppliers fall within our sustainable and JEDI guidelines by 2028.
Why: 90% of the products we sell are the discs we make in house. The remaining 10% include Trash Panda tees, hats, pins, patches, and any merch you find on our website. As a company, we want to ensure the suppliers we choose to produce our tees or hats not only align with our sustainability values but also align with how they treat their workers, the company's transparency, etc.
Immediate Action: Before completing a full audit of our suppliers, we will be creating a standard set of guidelines to run each supplier through.
This plan has been formally reviewed and approved by Trash Panda Disc Golf's leadership team as of June 18, 2026 Progress against the plan is reviewed bi-annually by our leadership team and updated annually in our public Climate Action Plan.
