Sustainability Block
3 Ozones

So we do everything we can to help make that happen.

After all — sustainability isn’t just a priority for us; it’s the reason we exist in the first place.

Our focus has been the same since day 1, and is only made possible by the community who has rallied around our mission:

To do right by the Earth and the people on it.

our community has helped us recycle

100,000+ pounds
of plastic

SINCE NOVEMBER 2022

That means we're diverting a pound of plastic every 1 minute and 15 seconds!

In other words, we've recycled the weight of 52,423 toasters, 104,840 squirrels, or 12,580,890 marshmallows (which is a lot of marshmallows, if you ask us!).

and we're just
warming up

👇

We work to grow the sport sustainably in 3 main areas:

  1. How We Make Our Discs
  2. Using Business as a Force For Good
  3. Building a Community Who Cares

1: How We Make
Our Discs

WITH THE PLANET AS OUR FOCUS
We Only Use
100% Recycled Plastic

We're proud to have produced over 100,000 discs without purchasing a SINGLE ounce of virgin plastic ♻️

We use plastic from the Sporting Goods, Automotive, Medical, Agricultural, and other industries.

Each one
is made in Denver, Colorado

Because local manufacturing = lower environmental impact 🌍

We utilize
Responsible Packaging & Shipping

That means 100% recycled cardboard for our boxes and offsetting the emissions from each shipment we send out 📦

Our discs are
circular things made in a circular way

In other words: our discs are made to be remade.

By avoiding foil-stamps in favor of bottom embossing and "ghost stamps", our discs can easily be ground up and recycled. We also include the plastic type for easier future identification + re-processing.

We close the loop with our
disc recycling program

There wasn't previously a sure-fire way to ensure our discs and others could be easily recycled.

So we created a Disc Recycling Program in 2022 to make it happen for not only us, but everyone in our sport 🤝

2: Using Business as a force for good

As a Certified B Corporation, we meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

It means we're committed to driving positive impact—putting people and the planet first in everything we do ☝️

Meaning that 1% of our revenue is donated to climate-focused efforts.

3: BUILDING A
COMMUNITY
WHO CARES

The Annual
holiday Used Disc Swap

Since 2022, the event has resulted in thousands of old discs finding a new home in 26 different countries.

To date, over 18,000 people have participated in the swap, making it the largest disc swap in the world 🎁

60,000+ discs have been recycled through our
Disc Recycling Program

We provide a shipping label and a discount to anyone who wants to participate in the program 🤘

Discs are sent to us by our community members in addition to retailers and other manufacturers, and are ground-down to be given a new life 🥏

Annual
Earth Day Bingo

In collaboration with UDisc — hundreds of disc golfers across the planet spend the month of April doing planet-friendly-acts in exchange for a free disc, on us 🥏

What's Next?

We have
1 main goal:

Recycle 1 million pounds of plastic ♻️

After 6 years we've recycled 100,000+ pounds of plastic. It won't be easy but what's stopping us 😉

FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS:

THANK YOU

Growing the sport sustainably is a team effort, and it would not be possible without your support. Here’s to a better planet to play on 🌍
